Jason and the Argonauts is a game by Hubol about usurpation, regicide, and approximately 50 sailors.

Why Try It: It’s a retelling in game form of the story of the Golden Fleece that the author created for a Latin class.

Time: Five minutes.

How to Play: The game is made up of a number of mini-games interspersed with dialogue. Follow the on-screen instructions for each game — you’ll sometimes have to use the mouse and sometimes the keyboard, but your goal is usually clear. There’s no fail states in the game, but you can aim to beat Hubol’s completion time if you want.

Author’s Notes: “JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS is a minigame collection created for my Latin III class! It is essentially a fast-paced SUPER BOGUS WORLD with a consistent art style!”

More Info: Hubol’s other games share Jason and the Argonauts’ distinctive visual style and jubilant, rapid play style — anyone looking to get into more of Hubol’s work might want to start with Live Forever.
